How  to go to goa should never be a problem to the tourists, as it is very  simple to reach in goa due to lots of transport facilities such as transport by airline, buses, trains. there is only one airport in goa which is known as Dabolim airport its at vasco-da-gama, just 43 kms away from the calangute beach.

there are different  flights flying down on the goa airport., flights such as Kingfisher,go-air,jet-lite, spice jet,Indian airline, these flights function from delhi to goa or from Mumbai to goa.

How to reach calangute beach from Goa airport

Once you reach at Goa airport it is very simple to locate Gabriel guest house Calangute beach.

There are two ways a guest can reach  at gabriel guest house calangute beach

1) By pre-paid Taxi :- Pre-paid taxi to calangute beach is available at the air-port taxi counter for a reasonable rate.

Aquada Fortress( main fort in Goa)

the Aguada Fort was built in 16th centuary and comprises of lower fort with bastions all around and an upper fort.it  shirts and sea shore and ascends the summitof the bare rocky upland called “Aquada Point”. the upper fort was buith as the  vantage  point to serve as a fort and a watering station to the ships whereas the lower fort offered a safe berth to portuguese ships. the upper fort comprises of a moat, anunderground water storage chamber,lighthouse,gun powder  rooms and bastions. the word Aquada means watering place in portuguese. the underground water storage tank has a capacity to store 23,76,00 gallons of water.it has five divisions and is supported by sixteen huge colums besides the staircase to accesses the bottom.

the light house used to emit the light once every seven minutes. however in 1834, it was updated to emit light every thirty seconds. it has been in disuse since 1976, when the new light house was commissioned.

Vagator Beach

Vagator Beach is the northermost beach of Bardez Taluka ,Goa.it is located on the opposite bank of Chapora River from Morjim in Pernem.

Vagator Beach is spilt into two main Beaches by a seaside headland which holds the car park and lots of stalls selling trinkets ,clothes,softdrinks and snacks.As you face the sea ,on your right is North Vagator Beach (big Vagator) and on your left Ozran Beach more commonly known as little Vagator Beach.The tourist is predominantly Western backpackers,however it has also become popular with Indian tourists,who particularly come to watch sunset from the rocks.The sunset through rocks is breathtaking from Vagator Beach and also Calangute Beach.
