wednesday flea market is one of asia top most market,only open on wednesday. it is very much popular among locals,as it is said to be the oldest market in goa locally known as hippy market as all the hippies sold their belongings after long stay holidays in goa.opening timing are from 9am to 4 pm .anjuna breaks a riot of colours lines of vechicle full of tourist.anjuna flea market is full of party outfit shoppers,tibetan jewellers,wonder full indian handicrafts,diferent food stalls and wine shops.best for music trance lovers as u can find different music stalls full of party music.anjuna flea market not far from gabriel guest house,as tourist can visit anjuna on foot,by boat and also by taxi or hiring bikes which is easily arranged by gabriel guest house.

Aquada Fortress( main fort in Goa)

the Aguada Fort was built in 16th centuary and comprises of lower fort with bastions all around and an upper fort.it  shirts and sea shore and ascends the summitof the bare rocky upland called “Aquada Point”. the upper fort was buith as the  vantage  point to serve as a fort and a watering station to the ships whereas the lower fort offered a safe berth to portuguese ships. the upper fort comprises of a moat, anunderground water storage chamber,lighthouse,gun powder  rooms and bastions. the word Aquada means watering place in portuguese. the underground water storage tank has a capacity to store 23,76,00 gallons of water.it has five divisions and is supported by sixteen huge colums besides the staircase to accesses the bottom.

the light house used to emit the light once every seven minutes. however in 1834, it was updated to emit light every thirty seconds. it has been in disuse since 1976, when the new light house was commissioned.

there are differ flights flying down on the goa airport., flights such as Kingfisher,go-air,jet-lite, spice jet,Indian airline, these flights function from delhi to goa or from Mumbai to goa.

How to reach calangute beach from Goa airport
